A specialized counter guerrilla unit Sayeret Egoz was formed in 1995. Currently, the unit is extensively involved in Low Intensity Conflict in the Territories and is considered a very successful Counter Terror unit conducting many ambushes for Palestinian terrorists. Today, the unit is one of most active units in the area, conducting at least one Counter Terror raid per week. The meaning the word Egoz is peanut, so the Motto of Egoz Unit is "peanut a hard nut to crack"-Egoz kashe le pitzuah " אגוז קשה לפיצוח " - this Motto You can see on the t-shirt.
